Who Paved This Way? Asphalt tiles, dirt parking lot 8′ x 8′
A short performance exploring the mundane task of laying down asphalt ties and paving a standard eight foot by eight foot section of the ground in rural Vermont. The work address the relationship between urbanization and its impact on nature and responds to the question: how do roadways affect our relationship to the land, distance, each other, and non-humankind?
